History of Ice Cold

Overview

Ice Cold is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires 300 kills dealt with Stasis damage. It can be worked on in any activity.

How to complete

• Use a Stasis source: a Stasis weapon, or a Stasis subclass such as the Titan's Glacial Quake on Behemoth, the Hunter's Revenant with Silence and Squall, or the Warlock's Shadebinder with Winter's Wrath.
• Freeze targets first. A frozen target shatters when hit again, and the shatter can be a finishing blow.
• Favour direct Stasis hits for the final blow. A 2020 Bungie forum thread reported that kills credited to shatter damage did not count toward Stasis objectives. Test this on a few kills before relying on shatter, since the behaviour may have changed.
• Stasis Fragments help: Whisper of Bonds grants Super energy for defeating frozen targets with weapons, and Whisper of Refraction grants class ability energy for defeating slowed or frozen enemies.
