Overview

"I Get What I Want" is a triumph in Destiny 2. The objective requires the player to complete the Event Track located in the Event Home. The triumph tracks progress toward completing the track 15 times.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must navigate to the Event Home and engage with the Event Track. The progress bar indicates the number of completions required, with a total of 15 completions needed to fulfill the objective.

The Event Home is a hub for seasonal and limited-time events, reached from the Director. It holds the daily and weekly challenges, the event's rank track and a reward shop. Each rank on the track gives a reward such as a weapon, an emblem or enhancement materials. Heavy Metal is the example the sources use, with a 15-rank track.

  • Finish the daily challenges first. They rotate at reset, and completing them covers most of the experience needed for the track. Playing event activities still grants some experience, but challenges grant the most.
  • Finish the weekly challenge. It takes most of the event to complete and grants more Event Tokens than a daily challenge.
  • Use Reroll Chips on a daily challenge that is hard to finish. A chip rerolls one daily challenge, including one already completed, to get a different one. Chips earned on the rank track do not expire with the event.
  • Spend Event Tokens in the event's reward shop before the event ends, since tokens expire when it does.

Progress only comes while an event with an Event Track is live, so this triumph depends on the event schedule.
