History of II - The Whispering Dark

Overview

II - The Whispering Dark is a triumph within Destiny 2, filed in the Lore category of the Triumphs menu. It unlocks the second entry of the lore book Above All Else, which was added in Season of Plunder.

The entry is told in the first person by an unnamed member of a raiding House who is travelling with a young son. Their House has lost the favour of the Great Machine to a new species. They raid the ruins of that species' dusty moon for salvage. Beneath the ruins they meet fearsome creatures, which suddenly retreat after seeming to hear a frightening whisper. The raiders then find a black pyramid in a rift beyond the creatures' temple.

How to complete

The entries of Above All Else are earned by progressing the Savior of the Seven Seas seasonal triumph. That triumph requires visiting each Pirate Hideout and defeating the Pirate Lord inside it.
