Overview
"I'm Not Superstitious" is a triumph in Destiny 2 with a score value of 15. The objective requires the player to complete every encounter in the Crown of Sorrow raid without any Guardian receiving the Witch's Curse debuff.
How to complete
To earn this triumph, the fireteam must successfully clear all encounters within the Crown of Sorrow raid. During these encounters, no member of the fireteam may be afflicted by the Witch's Curse debuff. If any Guardian receives this debuff at any point during the raid, the triumph will not be awarded.
The curse comes from the Witch's Blessing. The Blessing lasts 60 seconds, and when it runs out it becomes the Witch's Curse, which kills the Guardian shortly after. Every Blessing has to be swapped before its timer expires.
Practical steps:
- Swap buffs at the Witch's Vessel. Every player must be inside the sphere's radius, and a blessed and a non-blessed player shoot the sphere together, which moves the Blessing to the other side.
- Flip around 40 to 45 seconds into the timer, or earlier if you have a quiet moment. Blessed players should count down and call out when a swap is needed.
- Stand around the sphere and use Well of Radiance for cover during the fights.
- In the Witch's Ritual, pair a blessed player with a non-blessed player to break the crystals, which spawn at random locations.
- Against Gahlran, blessed and non-blessed players punch the shield down together. Only non-blessed players can damage Gahlran, so keep the buff states correct for each phase.
- Watch every party member's buff timer at each encounter. A 2020 forum thread describes a group that believed no one took the curse and still did not get the triumph; a reply suggested a teammate may have picked up the curse unnoticed.
The strategies come from the raid's 2019 launch-era guide. Encounter details may have changed since then.
