History of Hyperreal G-Man

Overview

Hyperreal G-Man is a side quest in The Edge of Fate, given by Ikora Rey at Augur's Bethel in Kepler. It opens after the main Edge of Fate quest reaches its ninth step; ProGameTalk lists the Exile's Accord and Central Academy Strangelet quests as the prerequisites. It is short, about 10 to 20 minutes. Ikora suspects Lodi may be tied to the Vex.

Walkthrough

1. Find the three Vex data spikes that Ikora forwarded and pull the data. Locations reported: one at Augur's Bethel and two in the Caldera (one near the entrance to the Central Academy / Aionian Campus). Sources word the exact spots differently.
2. Answer Lodi's call. After the lures are deciphered, follow the marker to a clear signal and accept the call.

Rewards

• 3 Fated Ciphers and a piece of AION Renewal armor or a Kepler weapon (per ProGameTalk and Destinypedia; ProGameTalk lists "Legendary gear").

Trivia

• Ikora's dialogue says every logical part of her says Lodi may be a Vex simulation.
