History of Husks

Husks are a Minor-ranked enemy type of Tempest's Beloved, the Dread group encountered in the Dissent story mission. They fight with Solar Husk Blades and use rapid movement, and their listed abilities include releasing a Geist.

Husks appear shortly after the Guardian defeats the Scorn guarding a Veiled Statue. They keep respawning after being slain alongside an Omen leader, and the encounter ends once the Omen is defeated, letting the Guardian commune with the statue.
