History of Hot Thread

Overview

Hot Thread is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It tracks progress toward 77,000 points earned by defeating targets with Solar or Strand damage. Final blows made with abilities, and final blows against other Guardians, grant more progress.

How to complete

Solar and Strand both count, so you can work on either element. Solar final blows are easiest to build with Scorch, which stacks on targets from Solar grenades and ignites at 100 stacks, and Ignition can stun Unstoppable Champions. Strand final blows are easiest with the Threadrunner and Broodweaver subclasses, where Threadlings attack targets. Ability final blows earn the bonus, so favor subclass abilities for the kill.
