History of Hive Statues

Overview

Hive Statues are objects in Ghosts of the Deep that must be activated to earn the Navigator Exotic catalyst. Three statues must be activated.

Activation

Each statue is reached by collecting a Vestige of Light from a pile of dead Ghosts and depositing it within about one minute. Depositing it summons the Lightbearer Acolyte Thul-Ar, Acolyte of Nokris. Forcing Thul-Ar to retreat sends the player to the next statue. To break his shield, the player defeats the Wizard near the matching symbol, which creates an energy pool that grants Piercing Light.

The third statue is found after defeating Ecthar, on the structure above the far door, and a chest appears behind it with the catalyst.
