History of High-Impact Reserves Refit

Overview

High-Impact Reserves Refit is the refit (catalyst) version of High-Impact Reserves. Its effect is the same: rounds at the end of the magazine deal more damage. The wiki lists it as a Season 26 basic trait. In the manifest it rolls only on Barrow-Dyad, so it is a catalyst option for that weapon rather than a general roll.

Catalyst

The refit is unlocked as part of the Barrow-Dyad exotic catalyst chain. A community guide from April 2025 describes these steps:

1. Complete an Expert Court of Blades run with the Barrow-Dyad equipped to start the quest.
2. Reach Rank 12 with the Shaping Slab.
3. Complete another Expert Court of Blades run using long-range weapons such as Scout Rifles, Sniper Rifles or Linear Fusion Rifles, and/or the Barrow-Dyad.

The guide says precision weapons in the first run can satisfy both steps. The game may have changed since the guide was written.

Notes

• No separate damage numbers are published for the refit. Its wording matches the base trait.
