History of Heroic Strikes Playlist

Overview

The Heroic Strikes Playlist launched a random Strike from Destiny 2 or Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris at higher power (data shows 750) with more loot than the standard playlist. Added with Curse of Osiris (December 2017); at first it had no modifiers, and Bungie said it would add challenges, modifiers and free access for non-DLC owners (GameRant, 13 Dec 2017). Progress counted toward the normal strike playlist too.

Status

Removed. The expansion content was vaulted in the Destiny Content Vault, and the playlist later gave way to Nightfall-style strikes with modifiers (see Nightfall).
