History of Helm of the Ace-Defiant

Overview

Helm of the Ace-Defiant is a Legendary Helmet for the Hunter class, part of the Ace-Defiant armor set (the Ace-Defiant Suit) from the Leviathan Raid (Year 1, Calus-themed; the Sindu pilots described by Emperor Calus). Set pieces: Helm of the Ace-Defiant, Grips of the Ace-Defiant and the rest of the set.

Acquisition

• Dropped by the Leviathan Raid on standard (Normal) mode, per Destinypedia. The sources do not say which encounter drops which piece. Players also earn Emperor Calus Tokens from encounters and trade them to Benedict 99-40 in the Tower for Imperial Engrams containing raid loot.
• Destinypedia lists the Ace-Defiant Suit as the Hunter standard-mode set.
• Not craftable and not focusable. This is old Year 1 armor with no Armor 3.0 stat archetype; check the in-game collection for current availability.
