History of Hefnd's Vengeance

Overview

In the game manifest Hefnd's Vengeance is listed as a Nightfall in the European Dead Zone ("Climb to the icy summit and defeat Hefnd's Vengeance"). The boss of that name is Hefnd's Vengeance, Blighted Chimaera, the final boss of the Warlord's Ruin dungeon: a Taken Ahamkara chimaera, the corrupted form of Hefnd, slain by Lord Shaxx in the Great Ahamkara Hunt.

Boss mechanics (Warlord's Ruin final encounter)

Shoot the central blight; destroy Blighted Eyes to spawn Scorn bosses, which drop lanterns used to cleanse totems; the Hex of Vengeful Corruption debuff kills a Guardian in 17 seconds if not managed; climb floating platforms for staggered damage phases; at about 5% health a final stand teleports the team to the top level.

Rewards include Eutechnology armor sets, Adored, D.F.A., Lotus-Eater, Mint Retrograde, Null Composure, Ouster Engine, Salvager's Salvo, The Hothead, The Palindrome, The Slammer, Whatchamacallit.
