Heavy Attack

Overview

A heavy attack is the charged melee attack on some weapons and abilities. Swords have one, and it uses Sword energy: at full energy it deals more damage, and at no energy it is weaker. Heavy attacks are a melee input, so they are unrelated to the Heavy weapons slot.

The Burning Maul Super also has a heavy attack, a slam projectile. Update 2.7.0 slightly reduced its speed and tracking and made it easier to hit airborne targets.

Do not confuse this with Heavy weapons, which is the weapon slot for high-damage guns.
