History of Hathrek, the Glasweard

Overview

Hathrek, the Glasweard is a Hive Lightbearer wizard of the Lucent Brood and the boss of the Extraction Lost Sector in Savathûn's Throne World. She first appeared in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen.

Location

Extraction is in the Quagmire area of the Throne World. The rooms before the boss are filled with Scorn and Lucent Hive enemies.

Fight

Hathrek throws Pulse Grenades and summons Healing Rifts to recover health. When her energy is full she enters Stormtrance, shown by her eyes shifting from green to light blue. Her Ghost can resurrect her after death, so both she and the Ghost must be destroyed. Hive reinforcements join in the final room. Defeating her and her Ghost opens the Lost Sector cache.

Trivia

During the Into the Depths seasonal story quest, the Drifter specifically targets Hathrek's Ghost.
