History of Harbinger

Overview

Harbinger was a secret Exotic Mission in the European Dead Zone, introduced with Season of the Hunt (January 2021). It is a 1-3 player activity recommended at 1270 Power, fought against Taken forces of Savathûn. The entrance is a hidden jumping puzzle near Trostland, with the mission itself set in The Reservoir. The quest As The Crow Flies from The Spider must be completed first.

Encounters and mechanics

Objectives: hunt Savathûn's emissaries, follow a hawk-like guide, survive the encounters, reach a shard and drive Savathûn out of the area. It ends against a powerful Taken Knight.

Rewards

• The Hawkmoon Catalyst.
• Randomly rolled versions of Hawkmoon (the first Exotic farmable for random rolls).
• A new Exotic ship, the Radiant Accipiter.

Availability

Vaulted. Reported vault timing differs: it left with The Witch Queen or by Season of the Wish. Hawkmoon can still be obtained from Xûr.
