Overview
"Hands Off" is a Triumph worth 10 points from the King's Fall raid. It is earned by completing the "Hands Off" challenge mode, which applies a kill restriction to the Oryx encounter. It counts toward the Kingslayer title and seal, which requires 21 King's Fall triumphs.
How to complete
During the Oryx fight, no player may kill the same Lightbearer Ogre or Lightbearer Knight more than once. Older guides call these enemies Light-Eater Ogres and Knights. Once a player lands the killing blow on one, that player cannot take another kill on it in a later phase, so the rest of that enemy's kills must go to someone else.
- Before the fight, decide who will take each Ogre and Knight spawn. Each plate has its own Ogre and Knight to plan around.
- Pick one of three common methods:
- Floaters: a small group of players takes every Ogre and Knight kill and swaps places between damage phases so no one repeats a kill. This works well for teams that can plan the swaps, but it depends on enough players being free to take the kills.
- Plate rotation: each player takes the Ogre and Knight on their own plate, then the team moves everyone to a different plate in the next phase.
- Call-outs: each player tracks their own kills and calls out loudly when a target is already claimed. This is the simplest method for a coordinated group.
- In the final stand, two more Ogres spawn at the L2 and R2 plates. They count toward the challenge, so give them to players who have not yet killed an Ogre.
Tip: one repeated kill fails the challenge, so track kills out loud and use the same callout every phase.
Rewards
The triumph itself grants no item. Completing the challenge on Normal grants a bonus chest with raid loot. On Master Mode the chest can drop high-stat armor and King's Fall Adept weapons.
