History of Handle Randal the Vandal

Overview

Handle Randal the Vandal is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires defeating Randal the Vandal in the Forgotten Shore, a coastal area of the Cosmodrome beyond Skywatch. He appears as a named Fallen Vandal and is much tougher than an ordinary one. The game data lists the objective as "Progress" with no reward.

How to complete

1. Fly to the Cosmodrome and head toward Skywatch.
2. Pass through the cave route that connects Skywatch to the Forgotten Shore.
3. Follow the coast past the two large shipwrecks on the beach.
4. Keep to the right-hand side of the island toward the far end, and climb elevated terrain if you need a view of the shoreline.
5. Look for his nameplate above a Fallen Vandal near the shore. The nameplate confirms you have found him.
6. Defeat him. Clear nearby Fallen first so they do not interfere.

Tips

• Use heavy weapons, abilities or high-damage special weapons, since he has far more health than an ordinary Fallen.
• The encounter can be done solo. Keeping some distance from the surrounding Fallen helps you avoid damage.
• Defeating him counts toward the associated triumphs and exploration objectives in the Cosmodrome.
