History of Half-Truths

Overview

Half-Truths is a Legendary Sword that deals Arc damage. It uses the Adaptive Frame, which launches a heavy uppercut when using the Aim command. Heavy attacks deal increased damage while the weapon is at full energy. Its flavor text reads: "A fine blade, but seems like it's missing something…"

Its random perk pools are:

• Blade: Honed Edge, Jagged Edge, Tempered Edge, Hungry Edge or Enduring Blade.
• Guard: Swordmaster's Guard, Enduring Guard, Heavy Guard, Burst Guard or Balanced Guard.
• Trait 1: Duelist's Trance, Tireless Blade, Relentless Strikes or Unrelenting.
• Trait 2: Eager Edge, Assassin's Blade, En Garde or Chain Reaction.

Acquisition

Half-Truths was introduced in Season 15, during the Bungie 30th Anniversary Event. Xûr does not sell it directly. It can drop from the weapon chest in Eternity, and it is a possible reward from the weekly Dares of Eternity challenges. It can also be unlocked with a Weapon Pattern, which requires 5 Deepsight Resonance extractions on this weapon.
