History of Gridskipper

Overview

Gridskipper is a Legendary Void Pulse Rifle built on the Rapid-Fire Frame. It was made by House of Light and first appeared in Season of the Splicer. It returned in Episode: Revenant. Its flavor text reads, “No stars overhead. Best not to look up.” —Amanda Holliday.

Its curated perks are:

• Intrinsic: Rapid-Fire Frame.
• Barrel: Extended Barrel.
• Magazine: Ricochet Rounds.
• Trait (column 1): Killing Wind.
• Trait (column 2): Multikill Clip.
• Origin Trait: Splicer Surge, which grants stat bonuses after reloading.

Random-roll options include Lone Wolf, Repulsor Brace, Zen Moment, Demoralize and Demolitionist in the first trait column, and Frenzy, Destabilizing Rounds, Headseeker, Aggregate Charge and Desperate Measures in the second.

A commonly cited PvE roll pairs Arrowhead Brake and Ricochet Rounds with Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds. For PvP, Arrowhead Brake and High-Caliber Rounds pair with Zen Moment and Headseeker.

Acquisition

Gridskipper comes from Episode: Revenant seasonal activities, including Onslaught: Salvation. Increasing seasonal reputation is also a route. It cannot be reacquired from Collections.
