History of Great Ahamkara Hunt

Overview

The Great Ahamkara Hunt was an extermination campaign by Guardians of the Last City against the Ahamkara, started after their wishes repeatedly backfired catastrophically and began altering Venus. It was coordinated by Commander Zavala, Ikora Rey and Lord Shaxx across the Sol System, with Mara Sov secretly supporting it while preserving Riven.

Outcome

Most Ahamkara were rendered extinct, though The Nine secretly protected some; Riven and Taranis survived as the last of their kind. Shaxx killed Hefnd after being slain fourteen times. Ahamkara bones were scattered across the system and later used in Guardian armor.
