History of Graviton Lance Catalyst

Overview

The Graviton Lance Catalyst is a Triumph for the exotic Graviton Lance. It tracks inserting the catalyst, 500 kills with the Graviton Lance, and 100 kills with its Cosmology perk.

How to complete

1. Get the Graviton Lance Catalyst. It drops randomly from Strikes and the Crucible.
2. Insert the catalyst into a Graviton Lance. This objective needs two insertions.
3. Get 500 total Graviton Lance kills.
4. Get 100 kills with the Cosmology perk active.

The Cosmology kill requirement was lowered from 1000 to 100 in a past patch, so older guides that quote 1000 are out of date. The catalyst adds +20 Range and two perks: Vorpal Weapon, which boosts damage against bosses, vehicles and Guardians using Super, and Turnabout, which grants an overshield when you break the shield of a combatant or a Guardian using Super.

Rewards

The triumph awards no separate reward in the game data. Upgrading the catalyst to Masterwork gives the weapon enhanced stats and additional perks.
