History of Golden Gemologist

Overview

Golden Gemologist is a Triumph in Destiny 2. Its single objective is to collect Golden Radiolite.

How to complete

Radiolite is gathered during the Breach Executable activity and deposited with Failsafe. The steps below follow the Specimen ID NES001 quest that sets up the process.

1. Deposit the samples you are carrying at the Radiolite Bay aboard the H.E.L.M., near Failsafe.
2. Collect the Piston Hammer from Failsafe. Keep it equipped while you run Breach Executable.
3. Run Breach Executable from the H.E.L.M. Fight the Vex and use the Piston Hammer to draw samples out of the ground. Striking Vex Assimilation Pistons brings nearby veins of Radiolite to the surface for sampling.
4. Complete the activity's objectives, which include extracting data and activating one Planetary Assimilation Piston.
5. Look for Golden Radiolite among the samples you pull up, and deposit it at the Radiolite Bay.

Tips:

• Samples are easy to miss when teammates rush through an area, so slow down and check the veins around each piston.
• Golden Radiolite is the sample this triumph tracks, so keep it separate from the other samples you collect.
