History of Golden Age

Overview

The Golden Age was the era of human prosperity, exploration and technological advancement that followed the arrival of the Traveler in the Solar System. Humanity colonised the Moon, Mars, Venus and the moons of Jupiter, built Warminds and advanced AIs, and created the Exo. Corporations such as Clovis Bray flourished, and ancient Vex ruins were found on Venus.

End

The Golden Age ended with the Collapse, when the Darkness arrived and attacked humanity. The Traveler's sacrifice saved the survivors on Earth, who built the Last City beneath it. Over the following centuries the details faded into legend. Golden Age technology is still found across the system, for example Ghosts hack it, and sites such as the Cosmodrome date from this period.
