History of Ghost Fragments

Ghost Fragments were a Tangled Shore currency introduced with Forsaken, used to buy Spider's WANTED bounties. They were found randomly in Tangled Shore loot caches. Their item description calls them a fragment of a dead Ghost, coveted by Spider.

Bungie deprecated Ghost Fragments and removed them from player inventories with the Year 5 update on February 22, 2022, alongside Tangled Shore content entering the Destiny Content Vault.
