History of Gambit: Class vs. Class

Overview

Gambit: Class vs. Class was the class-matched Gambit option during Guardian Games All-Stars, March 5–26, 2024. Bungie stated that players were matched with their class to face opposing players of another class; the mode counted among Focus Activities and Guardian Games reward packages. On March 8, Bungie disabled class-based matchmaking in Crucible and Gambit for the remainder of the event to alleviate Mongoose errors. References to the class-matched queue therefore apply to its initial event period, not the full advertised duration.
