History of Freehold Outskirts, Mars: Smuggle

Overview

Freehold Outskirts, Mars: Smuggle is a Lawless Frontier job on Mars in the Freehold Outskirts region. Lawless Frontier is a three-player activity added with Renegades; it is unlocked by finishing the Renegades campaign and the quest "The Territory War Begins", after which you pledge to a syndicate (Pikers, Totality Division or Tharsis Reformation) and launch jobs from the Director. You pick a destination and syndicate contract, then deploy. Matchmade and private (premade) versions exist. Power and difficulty tiers are not confirmed in the sources I opened; check in-game before launching.

Objective

Clear waves of enemies, excavate resources and load them into the cargo haul, then escape on the cargo ship before time runs out.

Before deploying you choose two limited-charge Renegade abilities; the Behemoth vehicle was highlighted in previews as a strong tool (Game Rant).

Sibling jobs

The three Freehold Outskirts jobs share a location and differ only in objective: Bounty Hunt, Sabotage and Smuggle. The same three job types also run at Hellas Fortitude on Mars and on Venus and Europa.

Rewards

Successful runs drop lockboxes and direct loot, and Dark Matter Ingots that raise syndicate reputation with the syndicate vendors (purchases use Credits).
