History of Four the Hard Way

Overview

Four the Hard Way is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to defeat four Guardians in a single Gambit invasion without using a Power weapon or Super. The triumph's progress is tracked as times completed.

A separate Dredgen title triumph, Army of One, asks for four kills in one invasion as an invader, without the power weapon or super restriction (Shacknews, 2023).

How to complete

1. Bank your motes before you invade. Dying on arrival hands them to the other team.
2. Invade once the enemy's Primeval has taken real damage. Invading right after it appears is pointless.
3. Invade when the enemy has a large pile of motes ready to bank, which shows on their gray bar. Killing a player who carries many motes lets you take those motes.
4. Get four kills in one invasion without using a power weapon or a Super.
5. Defenders are warned when an invader arrives. Invaders spawn in roughly the same places your team spawns when invading, so plan your route from there.
