History of Fortified Assault

Overview

Fortified Assault is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to guard at least two teammates with the Banner Shield. The triumph's objective is tracked as medals earned.

How to complete

Banner Shield is a Void Super augmentation for the Sentinel subclass of the Titan class, in the Code of the Commander tree. To complete the triumph:

1. Play a Titan with the Sentinel subclass and equip Banner Shield.
2. Activate the Sentinel Shield by guarding to create a defensive wall that your allies can stand behind.
3. Have teammates guard alongside you. Each teammate who guards with you extends how long the shield lasts.
4. Keep allies behind the wall. Allies who shoot through it gain a weapon damage boost.
5. Since patch 2.8.0, allied projectiles that travel along the ground pass through the shield, such as Burning Maul and Voidwall grenade.
