History of Foiled Again

Overview

Foiled Again is a Triumph earned by completing all nine "Elegant Arsenal" quests from the Rite of the Nine limited-time dungeon event. The event ran from May 6 to July 15, 2025. Foiled Again rewards the Calibrated emblem and a Bungie reward.

How to complete

1. Play the Ghosts of the Deep, Spire of the Watcher and Prophecy dungeons in Explore, Eternity or Ultimatum difficulty. Each dungeon rotates on a weekly schedule, and all three were available from June 17.
2. Complete the quests named "Elegant Arsenal: <weapon name>". Only these add progress.
3. Do not expect the First Watch quest to count. Bungie clarified that the First Watch quest, which awards the Wilderlight grenade launcher, is not an Elegant Arsenal quest. The First Vision quest and the exotic quests Ritual Initiation and Crossing the Threshold also do not count.
4. Some quests require clearing the whole dungeon, not just completing its encounters.
5. New Elegant Arsenal quests appeared on the weekly reset, so the triumph advanced at most one quest per week.
