History of Firmware Update

Overview

Firmware Update is a Destiny 2 triumph with a completion score of 10. The objective requires the player to acquire each of the 3 Vexcalibur catalysts. No additional rewards are listed.

How to complete

The three catalysts for the Vexcalibur exotic auto rifle come from the NODE.OVRD.AVALON exotic mission in Avalon. Each completion of the mission unlocks one catalyst trait, so you need three completions to unlock all three.

1. Run the Avalon exotic mission on Legend difficulty and complete it. This unlocks the first catalyst trait.
2. Repeat the mission two more times to unlock the other two traits.
3. Craft the Vexcalibur at the Enclave and insert one earned trait at a time. Inserting any earned Catalyst marks it as completed in the "Patterns & Catalysts" section of the Triumphs tab.

Tips:

• You can craft only one catalyst at a time at the Enclave, so finish one insertion before starting the next.
• Some reports list Expert difficulty for the Avalon mission instead of Legend.
