History of Firebreak

Overview

Firebreak is a Triumph in Destiny 2 worth 5 points. The objective requires the Guardian to defeat Tormentors in the Onslaught activity.

How to complete

To earn this Triumph, the player must take part in Onslaught and defeat Tormentors.

1. Join an Onslaught match and watch for the Heat Wave. Tormentors appear during this bonus wave, which can trigger after a boss wave and runs on a one-minute timer.
2. Kill Tormentors before the timer runs out. Each one slain during the timer also earns a Trophy of Bravery.
3. Break the shoulder weak points first. A Tormentor is invulnerable except at its glowing shoulders.
4. Once both shoulders break, the Tormentor turns grey and moves faster. Aim for the glowing chest weak point, since damage elsewhere is heavily reduced.
5. Watch for its close-range grab, which drains health. A teammate can stagger the Tormentor to make it drop the grabbed Guardian.

Tips:

• Keep your team together during the Heat Wave, since Tormentors keep spawning for the whole timer and the grab is the main threat.

Completing the triumph awards 5 points toward your triumph score.
