History of Final Warning

Final Warning is a Strand Sidearm Exotic added in Destiny 2: Lightfall and earned through the quest The Final Strand.

Overview

• Archetype: Sidearm, Strand.
• Intrinsic – All at Once: Holding the trigger marks targets and loads multiple bullets that fire in a burst with increased stability. A fully charged burst on a marked target will unravel it.
• Trait – Pick Your Poison: Hipfire projectiles track marked targets and deal more body damage; aiming down sights gives higher velocity and critical damage against marked targets.

Acquisition

• Complete The Final Strand. PCGamesN lists the quest steps as visiting Nimbus in Strider's Gate, finding Strand-inoculated gadgets, defeating Shadow Legion looters, retrieving a Veil spectrometer from a Typhon Imperator, and finishing a timed training program for Osiris. It requires the full Strand subclass to be unlocked first.
• PCGamesN calls the quest "The Last Strand"; the in-game name is "The Final Strand".

Catalyst

Destinypedia lists the String Theory catalyst (700 kills): hits against marked targets deal more damage and can refund ammo. Other sources conflict about when and how it is earned, so verify in game.
