History of Fight to the End

Overview

Fight to the End is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It is completed by finishing full runs of Onslaught: Salvation, the Onslaught activity.

How to complete

1. Launch Onslaught: Salvation and play full runs. Each run must reach the Wave 50 boss.
2. Only defeating the Wave 50 boss counts. Wipes do not count, and runs that end early do not add progress.
3. Playlist runs do not count toward the triumph. Queue the activity directly.
4. Expert difficulty does not give extra progress over the normal version.
5. Expect a long grind. Players reported about 50 hours of play if you never wipe, so plan for many attempts and avoid unnecessary wipes.

Requirement history

The original requirement was 50 full completions. Bungie forum posts from December 2024 report it was lowered to 40, and the progress bar moves in small steps as each boss kill is recorded. Check the in-game triumph to confirm the current count.

Trivia
