History of Field Scout

Overview

Field Scout is a Crucible triumph in Destiny 2. You need five long-range final blows with a Scout Rifle in a single match. The triumph counts final blows, so you must land the killing shot each time.

How to complete

1. Equip a Scout Rifle in the Kinetic or Energy slot. Scout Rifles are precision weapons with the highest Range of any Kinetic or Energy weapon. Higher Range stats help you keep final blows at distance. The Jade Rabbit has the highest listed Range (80) in the wiki's weapon table.
2. Queue into a Crucible playlist. Quickplay unlocks after the Spark mission and talking to Lord Shaxx. Competitive unlocks after two Quickplay matches of any outcome.
3. Pick maps with long sightlines and hold angles where enemies cross open ground.
4. Land five final blows at long range inside one match. Kills from other weapons, or from close range, do not count toward the five.
5. Finish the match. The count resets with each new match, so one strong match is enough.

Field Scout has no listed reward in game data. It is a standalone Crucible triumph.
