History of Fatesmith Knight

The Fatesmith Knights are the three Hive Knight bodyguards of Dûl Incaru, the Eternal Return, the final boss of The Shattered Throne dungeon in Destiny 2. Destinypedia describes them as her Darkblade bodyguards; Shacknews describes them as her high-ranking Hive Knights present from the start of the arena. Sources differ on whether Dûl Incaru summons them.

Killing a Fatesmith Knight drops a buff that allows damage to Dûl Incaru. Collecting the buffs from all Knights stacks the effect. Each buff lasts 45 seconds, up to three stacks, and cannot be reset; when the timer runs out the team dies. Standing on the central brazier removes the buff. When a Knight's health gets low, Dûl Incaru summons a large Void crystal in a doorway that shields the Knights. Destroying the crystal removes the shields and summons Taken Psions, and sources report that dead Knights revive when it is destroyed. Once a Knight loses its helmet it sprints, so guides advise not to chip it too far before finishing it.
