History of Fatebringer (triumph)

Overview

The Fatebringer (triumph) is a Destiny 2 triumph that tracks the unlocking of the Fatebringer weapon's Pattern. The triumph description states that completing Deepsight Resonance extractions on this weapon will unlock its Pattern. The objective requires the player to achieve Pattern progress (0/5). Completing this triumph awards no additional rewards beyond the weapon pattern itself.

How to complete

To complete the Fatebringer (triumph), players must acquire the Fatebringer hand cannon. In Destiny 2, the weapon is available through the Vault of Glass raid. Specifically, the Fatebringer (Timelost) version, which is a Legendary weapon, can be obtained from the Templar boss during the Season of the Splicer and subsequent updates like Episode: Heresy.

Players must equip the weapon and engage in activities to generate Deepsight Resonance. This process involves completing Deepsight Resonance extractions. Each successful extraction contributes to the Pattern progress objective. The triumph requires five total extractions to reach the 0/5 completion threshold. Once the fifth extraction is completed, the Pattern is unlocked, and the triumph is marked as complete. The Fatebringer can also be crafted in Episode: Heresy, but the triumph specifically tracks the Deepsight Resonance extraction path for pattern unlocking.
