History of Fast Fill

Overview

Fast Fill is a Triumph in Destiny 2 earned in Gambit. The objective is to collect 15 Motes quickly. The game data tracks it as Fast Fill medals earned, 0 out of 3, so the medal has to be earned three times.

How to complete

1. Join a Gambit match with a team that can clear enemies around the High Value Target (HVT). Players in the forum threads said this needed coordination.
2. Wait for a HVT to spawn with one or two adds next to it. Players reported the HVT drops about 13 motes, and the adds drop the rest.
3. Use your Super on the HVT and the adds to bring the motes together. Some players timed this for the start of round two or later in the round, when the waves are larger.
4. Pick up the motes as fast as you can, within about a second of each other. One player reported the count only registered when the pickups were close together.
5. Repeat until you have three Fast Fill medals.

Tips: Do not hold a single mote from earlier in the round, because a banked mote can stop the 15 count from registering. A 2018 forum player wore the Crown of Tempest and used Tickle Fingers, saving the Super for round two.

Reports: Reports from 2018 and 2019 are mixed. One player said 15 motes collected in about three seconds did not count, and another said the description may be misleading but the triumph is obtainable.
