History of Falling Guillotine

Overview

Falling Guillotine is a Legendary Void Sword Weapon. Its flavor text reads, "What won't be given must be taken." The weapon features the intrinsic trait Vortex Frame, which allows for a heavy spin attack. It is noted for its ability to deal significant damage against bosses and "swarm" type enemies such as Thralls, Shanks, War Beasts, and Taken Psions.

Acquisition

Falling Guillotine was originally acquired by increasing season ranks in Season of Arrivals or from Pyramid focused engrams. Due to these methods no longer being in the game, the weapon is currently featured in the rotating loot pool in the Dares of Eternity activity.

A BRAVE Arsenal version of the weapon was introduced during the Into the Light update. This variant features a new appearance, different perks, and a new origin trait. It is available as loot from the Onslaught activity and can be attuned at the Hall of Champions to drastically increase its drop rate. A more unique version of this weapon is also available on rare drops with double perks and its own unique Weapon Ornament.
