History of Faction Wars

The Faction Wars were a series of early conflicts among factions in the Last City. The fighting threatened the City’s survival and ended when a gathering of Guardians intervened. In the peace that followed, the Consensus and Speaker governed together, while surviving factions pursued their agendas through civil channels. The surviving factions’ political role is historical; this article describes the conflicts as presented in the Grimoire and later summaries.
