History of Faction Chest

Faction chest was the name used in the 2022 The Witch Queen quest Trust Goes Both Ways for ordinary, respawning open-world chests in Savathûn’s Throne World. For that quest step, a faction chest meant a standard chest in the Miasma; gold region chests, public-event chests, and high-value-target chests did not count. The term is specific to that quest, not a general chest category with unique rewards.
