History of Expert: Eventide Ruins

Overview

Expert: Eventide Ruins is the Expert-difficulty, 50-wave version of the Eventide Ruins map in Onslaught: Salvation, a Seasonal Arena defense activity from Episode: Revenant on Europa. You defend the Advanced Defensive Unit (ADU) and Eliksni prisoners against the Scorn, Shadow Legion and Dread; if the ADU is destroyed the run ends. Power requirements differ between sources: Expert is listed at 2065 Power on Destinypedia and at 2010 in game data.

How to launch

Select Onslaught: Salvation from the Director, choose Eventide Ruins and Expert difficulty.

Mechanics

Waves come in sets of ten with a boss every tenth wave. Bonus objectives, augment encounters and prisoner rescues appear in special waves. After setup you can spend scrap on mountable turrets and air-strike terminals. Eventide Ruins spawns sit closer to the ADU to shorten clear times compared with the other maps (Widow's Court, Kell's Grave).

Rewards

Seasonal weapons and tonic ingredients from boss-wave chests; occasional heat waves spawn extra Revenant Barons for more ingredients.
