History of Exotic Cipher

Overview

An Exotic Cipher is a consumable used to get Exotic gear. It can be presented to Xûr to buy extra Fated Engrams beyond the weekly limit or to the Monument to Lost Lights for past Exotics, and is required for Precision Decryption with Master Rahool. Ciphers come from certain triumphs or season-rank rewards, and you can hold up to five. Cipher sources and uses have changed since The Final Shape; check in-game.
