History of Exotic Catalyst I

Overview

Exotic Catalyst I is a Triumph worth 5 points. It is earned by finishing the quest "Should You Choose to Accept It, Part I", which unlocks the first Exotic Catalyst for Revision Zero, an Exotic Pulse Rifle from Season of the Seraph. This catalyst is the Frenzy Refit.

How to complete

1. Revision Zero comes from The Hidden Shape, which Season Pass owners complete as part of More Than a Weapon. Part I starts after step 32 of that quest.
2. Get the cryptographic index from the Archimedes Annex, then travel to Europa for the next instructions. Cadmus Ridge is the recommended area.
3. Decrypt the passcode cipher (BARDEN) by clearing patrols and enemies there, then upload it at the dead drop in the Perdition Lost Sector on Cadmus Ridge.
4. Run Operation: Seraph's Shield on Legend difficulty and find the weapon schematic it contains.
5. Complete the operation to receive the Frenzy Refit, which finishes the quest and the triumph.

Catalyst

The Frenzy Refit gives Revision Zero the Feeding Frenzy perk: rapid kills temporarily speed up reloads, and the bonus builds with each kill.
