History of Eversion Anchor

Overview

An Eversion Anchor is an object from Oryx's Dreadnaught that emits Taken energy. It can pull the Ascendant Plane into the material world, which makes it a beachhead for the Dire Taken.

Story

Eversion Anchors were first encountered shortly after the Revenant Uprising. Anchors appear in Episode: Heresy (released 4 February 2025) and recur in Reclamation (July 2025). After the Dire Emergence, Dire Taken forces used anchors to claim territory on Earth and Nessus.
