Eternity's Edge

Overview

Eternity's Edge is the Warlock class sword, a Legendary Solar Sword. Its flavor is Tarsem Sauer's line, "A sword is a wand that casts two spells: parry and cut." It was originally an Adaptive Frame sword with Whirlwind Blade, Infinite Guard and Honed Edge, then reissued in Season of the Splicer on the Vortex Frame with perks like Tireless Blade, Thresh, Surrounded and Relentless Strikes, making it the first sword to have its frame changed.

It joins Quickfang and Crown-Splitter as the trio of class swords. It was Warlock-only until Episode: Heresy lifted class restrictions on weapons.

Acquisition

Its in-game source is completing the campaign as a Warlock. The reissued version drops randomly. Banshee-44 is generally considered the best source, and Umbral Engrams, Legendary Engrams and rank rewards from Lord Shaxx and Commander Zavala also yield it.
