History of Eternal Alignment

Overview

Eternal Alignment is a triumph in Destiny 2. It requires the player to complete the Astral Alignment activity from Season of the Lost without dying. The triumph awards no score or rewards.

How to complete

Finish Astral Alignment without a single death. The activity has three phases:

1. Crush the Intruders: Defeat the Scorn guarding the Oracle Engine as waves spawn, then interact with the Wayfinder's Compass. Some Scorn deal Stasis damage, so use AoE weapons and Warmind Cells.
2. Two of three encounters (drawn at random): Collapse the Taken Rifts, Install the Batteries, or Prevent the Ether Harvest.
3. Final boss (rotates weekly): Kholks, Taken of Xivu Arath, or Kruutiks, Reefbane. Kruutiks makes hologram duplicates that snipe, and its Ether orbs heal the real boss, so destroy the orbs quickly.

Death-avoidance tips: bring at least two element types for shields and at least one anti-Champion mod. Defensive subclass options include Hunter Nightstalker with Assassin's Cowl or Revenant, Warlock Devour on Voidwalker, and Titan Sentinel or Sunbreaker. Legend difficulty adds Overload and Unstoppable Champions and has no matchmaking, so it is best run with a fixed group.
