History of Etana SI4

Overview

Etana SI4 is a Legendary Sidearm from Omolon, dealing Arc damage in the energy slot. It uses the Adaptive Burst Frame (3-round burst) archetype and is a Banshee-44 (Gunsmith) reward weapon.

Its curated roll offers Shortspec SAS or Tactic SAS, Appended Mag or Steady Rounds, and Hip-Fire Grip. Stats are around 491 RPM with high stability (about 80) but modest range. Community comparisons call it a similar but weaker alternative to Last Hope (see the PvP review video titled "Etana SI4 - Last Hope Alternative" on YouTube). Flavor text: "The reign of Light will be long and peaceful."

Acquisition

Earned as a reward from Gunsmith rank-up packages given by Banshee-44 in the Tower. Listed as a Season 1 (Destiny 2 launch) weapon. It is not craftable and has no Adept version. Rank comes from Banshee-44's daily bounties and from dismantling Legendary and Exotic gear.

Because older sources predate sunsetting and the later weapon-system changes, roll details are from the curated rank-up version and may differ from current drops; check in-game or a roll database.
