History of Essence of Isolation

Overview

Essence of Isolation is a legendary quest from Shadowkeep (introduced in Season of the Undying) on the Moon. Eris Morn's Lectern of Enchantment in Sanctuary sells Essences for Phantasmal Cores; each Essence is a non-expiring quest that you cleanse by completing objectives and then turn into a piece of gear using Nightmare Essence. It rewards class-specific Dreambane armor gauntlets, and Dreambane armor is otherwise only found in the Pit of Heresy dungeon. Expect roughly an hour or less of focused play.

Walkthrough

1. Defeat 100 Fallen on the Moon. Fallen on the Moon are mostly in the Archer's Line and Hellmouth areas, and in the Lost Sectors; Lost Sectors and patrols give fast kills. Fallen elsewhere do not count.
2. Return to the Lectern of Enchantment in Sanctuary and use the Lectern to infuse the cleansed Essence with Eris's magic.

Rewards

• Dreambane Gauntlets (Titan), Dreambane Grips (Hunter) or Dreambane Gloves (Warlock), a Legendary gauntlet piece of Dreambane armor.
