History of Esila

Overview

Esila was an Awoken historian and poet, the daughter of Sila. She left the Distributary under Mara Sov and returned to the Sol System to aid humanity, then spent much of her time in the Gardens of Esila.

The Ahamkara Azirim killed her by tricking her into walking off a cliff. She is first mentioned in Destiny 2: Forsaken and mentioned again in Season of the Wish. Her epigraph is quoted on the Retold Tale shotgun.
