History of Epoptes, Lord of Quanta

Epoptes, Lord of Quanta is a shielded Hydra boss in The Desert Perpetual raid in Edge of Fate. The raid is non-linear: after the opening jump section, a fireteam chooses which of the three boss encounters to take first. Epoptes is the Clear Sight encounter, entered by stepping on the plate labeled "All are entangled" and following the aligned orbital spheres to the tower. The final fight is Koregos, described as a combination of every earlier encounter.

The fireteam splits into three duos. Side teams clear their Cyclopses and step on plates to gain Constant Temporality, a buff that lets them damage the shield. The shield has six eyes around a large center eye, and a player standing in its light marks one diamond on a nearby grid. The temporality player calls out that diamond so the opposite side breaks the matching eye. The middle team handles the adds and calls the diamonds, and taking damage resets the interaction prompt.

Once the shield eyes are down, two random players take the buff and break the remaining shields in a damage phase, which extends the DPS window. The cycle repeats until the Hydra falls. Thunderlord and sniper rifles with Triple Tap or Fourth Time's the Charm are common loadout picks for the long damage windows.
